Privacy Policy
Effective July 5, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Cascadian Real Estate(“Cascadian,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit our website, create an account, submit a form, or otherwise interact with us. By using our site, you agree to this Policy.
Information we collect
Information you provide. When you contact us, request information, sign up for an account, or inquire about a career with us, we collect the details you share — such as your name, email address, phone number, and any message you send. If you create an account and use your dashboard, we also store the listings you save and any property you choose to add for value tracking, including the address, purchase price and date, and (if you enter it) a mortgage balance.
Information collected automatically.Like most websites, we and our analytics providers automatically collect certain technical information, such as the pages you view, your approximate location and device or browser type, the site or ad that referred you (including campaign “UTM” tags), and similar usage data, through cookies and comparable technologies.
Information from other sources. Property listings shown on our site are provided by multiple listing services (MLSs) and are subject to their terms; we do not create that data. We may also receive information from service providers that help us operate the site.
How we use your information
- Respond to your inquiries and provide the services you request;
- Create and manage your account, saved listings, and property value estimates;
- Connect you with one of our brokers and provide market analysis;
- Review and follow up on career inquiries;
- Operate, secure, analyze, and improve our site; and
- Send updates or marketing where permitted, which you can opt out of at any time.
Cookies and analytics
We use privacy-conscious analytics to understand how the site is used. This may include cookieless website analytics and a product-analytics tool that measures page views and on-site actions and, once you identify yourself (for example, by submitting a form), associates your prior activity with you so we can follow up appropriately. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect some features.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:
- With our brokers and staff to respond to and serve you;
- With service providers that operate the site on our behalf — such as hosting, database and file storage, analytics, and customer-relationship tools — under obligations to protect it;
- As required to comply with law, enforce our terms, or protect rights and safety; and
- In connection with a business transfer, subject to this Policy.
Your choices and rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and you may opt out of marketing communications, by emailing us at contact@cascadianrealestate.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable law, including in Washington. We do not sell personal information or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Data retention and security
We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide our services and for legitimate business or legal purposes, then delete or de-identify it. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Children’s privacy
Our site is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Third-party links
Our site may link to third-party sites and services we do not control. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will revise the effective date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
